Q. What are the fees?

A. This depends which programme your children attend. The fees set out below have been broken down into the 3 different programmes we run, plus the combination of the BFS & AFS program.

Breakfast Club [BFS]

1 Child – $9.00 an hour
2 Children – $16.20 an hour
3 or more Children – added 5% discount per child off the 1 child per day charge

After School Programme [AFS]

1 Child – $22.50 per day
2 Children – $42.50 per day
3 or more Children –added 5% discount per child off the 1 child per day charge

Full Programme [BFS & AFS]

1 Child – $31.50 per day
2 Children – $58.70 per day
3 or more Children – added 5% discount per child off the 1 child per day charge

Holiday Programme

1 Child – $55 per day
2 Children – $104.50 per day
3 or more Children – added 5% discount per child off the 1 child per day charge

Q. Could the fees change from the above?
A. Yes they are subject to change for reasons such as:
1. The above fees calculation is for the full hours of a programme ie: 3–5.30pm=2.5 hrs
2. The time you pick up your child[ren] – the first hour is charged at the full rate, thereafter we charge in 15 minute increments.
3. If you are late in picking up your child[ren] a late fee of $1.00 per minute will apply.
4. Management may, in the future, need to increase fees as part of normal business practice.
Q. Is there a discount if I have more than one child?
A. Yes.

  • 2nd child 10% discount
  • 3rd child 15% discount
  • 4th child 20% discount
  • thereafter an added 5% discount for each child ie: 5th child 25% discount
Q. Will I be entitled to a WINZ Subsidy?
A. This is dependent upon on your combined gross weekly income. Refer link below

Work and Income

Q. How will my fees be structured if I qualify for a WINZ Subsidy?

A. Calculate your hourly subsidy by the number of hours your child[ren] will be in the programme.

Examples:
During the School Term:
For 1 child with a combined household income of less than $1,200.00, the entitlement is $3.98 per hour for up to 20 hours per week.
**NOTE** the subsidy is per child
BFS & AFS combined hours = 17.5 hours week
The subsidy is $5.22* 17.5 = $91.35
Kids Rock Out of School Programme weekly charge = $157.5
You pay Kids Rock Out of School Programme the difference of $66.15

Holiday Programme:
For 1 child with a combined income of less than $800.00 the entitlement is $5.22 per hour for up to 50 hours per week. **NOTE** the subsidy is per child
Full week = 50 hours
The subsidy is $5.22 * 50 = $261
Kids Rock Out of School Programme weekly charge = $275.00
You pay Kids Rock Out of School Programme the difference of $14.00
